About Me

I’m Kalyn. An explorer at heart, I’m constantly poking around for cool stuff and down to have fun. Although a Math major, I always appreciate a good book or a thought-provoking article. Reading keeps my mind open and prevents me from drowning in the numbers and Greek letters that I see daily. I’m also a fan of interesting talks. Some people have inspiring thoughts to share and I’m happy to listen.

This blog is a place for me to keep my reflections on my favorite books, TED talks, and other little gems that I find while juggling with a busy busy life!

A little bit about me: I’m a working girl in the San Francisco Financial District.  I’m a firm believer of living the moment and staying optimistic (it is hard but I give it my best shot). I love cooking and salsa dancing, therefore always stoked to meet a fellow chef or dancer 🙂

Special shout out to my fellow UC Berkeley peeps out there! Forever a Cal Bear.

  1. Hello Kalyn, I liked very much your blog. Very sensitive! We both share interest for Behavioural Finance and Kahneman. Would be delighted to discuss further the topic with U. François (Paris – “I am Charlie”).
